Should I be worried or do anything further?

The guy I’m newly in a relationship with had let me know a few months ago about a girl he had come to his house one night prior to him knowing me. They never slept together or anything and he said he just wasn’t interested in her. She works at one of the places he has to stop at frequently for work so he is trying to be cordial to her. This past weekend him and I were out together at an event with a lot of people. She text him randomly I assume drunk saying he was handsome. He told me he responded back just saying that he hoped she had a good night. She then mentioned an event going on in April. He then didn’t respond further after that. He told me about this all. It makes me feel uneasy knowing some girl is trying to hit on him. Should I be worried or do anything else? He assured me he isn’t interested but still is hard for me to let go of.

You should be glad he's being honest and open about it. He's clearly interested in you and not her. If he didn't care about you he'd probably just sleep with her on the side and not say anything so I would take it as a point of pride that you have an honest man that wants you to know the truth.

True which has to be a good sign. It just sucks knowing someone wants your guy. He has been very honest with me. I just wish he would straight out tell her that he has a girlfriend now. We just established this over the weekend. We have been exclusively dating for a few months prior to.
