Is it odd for an “attractive” person to be single inevitably if they do not try? Or will a relationship still happen for them without trying?

I find it baffling if they’re a woman & still stay single, as it’s known women have it easier. The most I do being a 29F is go on dating apps on and off, I’ve been single for several years. It seems like being in a relationship with a man is not possible for me, I get the attention you’d expect as a woman on the app but it doesn’t go anywhere for a multitude of reasons. Which is why I have to ask myself if I’m actually attractive or if everyone in my life is lying to me. In person, I have yet to be approached by a guy I’d actually want to date. I’m not the friendliest, if supermodels can find love then I feel it’s an excuse when people tell me I’m “intimidating”

In reality you will probably never be approached by a guy you want to date. You claim to get attention, just not from guy's you'd date. Thus, that means you're going have to put some serious work in to land the kind of guys you do actually want attention from. Relationships are a two way street. Both people have to try... I can tell you as an attractive man, random women approach me pretty regularly in all sorts of places. They eye fuck me every where I got, flirt, and even do crazy shit like walk around in parking lots in front of my car and look through my window repeatedly like they are doing some sort of stage performance, but if I don't make an effort myself to go introduce myself eventually they tend to go away. Both people got to try.

You're an adult and as such you are responsible for your life. If what you are doing thus far isn't working then it is up to you to change your strategy in order to increase your chances of finding such a man that you find suitable. And this may include you being proactive and actually approaching men. I mean, you can continue to do what you've been doing and maybe you'll get lucky and get approached by the man of your dreams. But what if that doesn't happen?

Choice and accountability. If you're not willing to put in the work, then you are basically choosing to stay single.

Newsflash hun, guys are human beings as well. Some guys just want to get laid (as I'm sure you know). But guys that want relationships don't want one with just any woman. And if you expect a guy to put some effort towards you you're going to have to put some effort towards him.

Also your "I have yet to be approached by a guy I'd actually want to date" is very telling. This "lack of success" is probably going to continue for you.

Idk…shyness and lack of confidence can be isolating even for a “hot” person. Stuff rarely just happens. can't sit by in life. Male or female. Or the third kind where your both.
