Meeting his parents looking for help deciphering meaning?

So this guy and I who have been seeing each other for two years, finally made our relationship official… And this past week I met his parents.
his mom was very excited when I arrived, and afterwords told him that I seem like nice girl and likes the fact that I am chatty. I believe she knows about me from the start, but being this is my first mature adult relationship I can’t tell if she like me or not. (This might be me overthinking)

This isn’t about being your first real relationship, it’s just your social cues in general, because what about your encounter with that woman gave you any indication she didn’t like you? After literally writing that she was excited? I just think you’re scared of losing this guy and as a result you worry about every little thing. Maybe this has to do with issues in the past or the fact you barely solidified your relationship after 2 years, I imagine there were obstacles that prevented it prior.


In any case, here’s some friendly advice: if he’s not meant for you it won’t work in the end no matter what happens and no matter what you do. So rather than fearing something that may or may not ever happen, just live in the moment and enjoy what’s happening right now. I’m sure it was a long time coming.
