So first I want to highlight how hard it is for people on the spectrum to date. Many men simply don’t approach out of fear of accusations if it’s not reciprocated. Secondly women would rather have a neurotypical partner. My ex girlfriend broke up with me using those exact words saying why understand you when I can find someone normal and it put things in perspective for me that this is just the way it is. If you look up both dating and marriage statistics it correlates both categories have extremely low percentages

It’s not that sad. Some people don’t want to date someone who doesn’t understand them, and I think that’s quite reasonable. There are many neurodivergent women out there who prefer to date neurodivergent men, so it’s not like neurodivergent men are always kicked to the curb. Often their relationships fail because their personality or lifestyle is incompatible, rather than it being solely because of their neurodivergent condition.
Our relationship failed because I wouldn’t let her beat on me and call me horrible names. So then she stooped to attacking me at my disability
Also I want it highlight many autistic men do understand women anything you say we will immediately store and remember especially if it’s something you like. And if we can’t remember i guarantee it’s in the notes on our phone. Lastly she refused to communicate even though i constantly tried to get on the same page as her
Sounds like you just had a bad relationship, what does that have to do with other women?
Because I don’t feel like I can get a fair chance I have a lot to offer in a relationship unfortunately it was in a wasted effort in this previous relationship but it has to take some understanding and acceptance as well I do have some social limitations but also I offer a lot of good qualities
I assume you’re the same guy who’s been posting about this relationship for weeks. Move on and put it past you, focusing on it is not doing you any good.
I have moved past it but I’m noticing that no matter how good my character or who I am as a person it’s never gonna be able to overcome this
Because of your experience with this one relationship?
No it’s not connected to this relationship at all it’s what i highlighted in my question and honestly in society there are preconceived notions on autism and usually once someone hears the word autism you are deemed lesser as a person even out side of dating men and women have treated me differently then before when they didn’t know I had it but especially with dating I have found myself not being completely able to say I’m on the spectrum because the simplest thing as being accepted for being me doesn’t seem likely even though I have a lot of good attributes to offer in a relationship. Like I said before that relationship crashed and burned I proved not only to myself but to people in my family and others that I would make a great partner, i actually think I suprised people but when you go so many years without a relationship and all you can do is sit back and study how it’s supposed to be I guess you can excel when you get your chance
