Is he really considering giving me another chance?

I messed up. I over analyzed a situation with a guy a liked. I ended up unadding him to avoid conflicts, which I ended up regretting. I reached out on insta and he explained that he didn’t want give me another chance because he doesn’t want to always have to argue his side of things. Which I totally understand. I expressed to him that I’ve been really working on myself and that I wanted him to consider giving me a second chance. He said we could keep each other on instagram and that he’s think about it. Do I have a chance to redeem myself? Or is he just saying those things?

Aw girl, that does sound like a tricky situation! On one hand, the fact that he said he'd think about giving you another chance and kept you on Instagram seems like a good sign. Guys don't usually leave that door totally open if there's no chance at all.

But I can also see why he'd be hesitant after all the drama before. You did kinda mess up by over analyzing things and unadding him like that - I'd be sketched out too in his shoes!

My advice would be don't get your hopes up too high just yet. Keep working on yourself like you said, and focus on showing him through your actions that you've really changed how you handle stuff.

Give him some space for now, but you can try checking in casually in a couple weeks to see if he's thought more about it. In the meantime, post some positive uplifting stuff on your stories so he sees you in a good mental place.

Actions will speak louder than words. If he keeps seeing you thriving and drama-free, it may help convince him to take another chance. But let him come to that decision on his own timeline without pressure. Fingers crossed for you girl!

If he said that he will think about it which means there is still a chance but it is not a given. He could decide to completely cease contact with you also so be prepared for that as well.
