Trending & News I mean at one point I probably knew what this meant, but I will just share the logic you should carry and withdraw from this scenario.
Without pointing at any immaturities in the guy, or trying to, I’ll just say he probably has different interests as you and Indy interested in your interests do you guys can’t really get along on a social level. So if that’s the case there’s no relationship there to pursue. He could even know/ have an idea and believe that he’s into more crazy sexual stuff or just different in this case and you may be more innocent or not his pace type of style and he himself isn’t patient or at any level of wanting to teach. Maybe he’s not innocent to learn and enjoy WITH you sort of thing.
Either way he feels some things don’t match up and it would be best to find other more suitable partners for both he and you, but despite all of this, he thinks you’re attractive.
If he’s a total fuck boy that could mean he doesn’t want anything long term or commitment but he’d be down to fuck you essentially.
if he’s not a fuck boy or he’s quite sociable “ “ / learned “ “ he could just mean the differences between you both isn’t enough to pursue a long term thing.
So-
Either *respectable differences,* BUT still *acknowledging beauty.*
OR
Just an indirect (subconscious) or direct offer thrown in the air for sexual play, but nothing serious or long term.
That’s my guess.
As for how would I feel? I’d probably see if there was any chance of CLEAN and safe sex with them and then take some time to forget them in my pursuit of hobbies careers and interests with or without another relationship to replace this desire for one with the crush.
I’d feel bad for the long term, but try to be opportunistic on any deals and then move on. Or just move on if you’re waiting for something more special and being desired by the one who will indeed love you. Your call tbh.
"Ohhhh you must mean my sister. I'm the better one!"
It really depends. I struggle with self image, and being told something positive from someone I have a crush on would be a net benefit to me. And while it might be a bummer that they would not want to date me, I completely get it. There's more that goes into a relationship than just physical attraction, you both need to be on the same wavelength, want the same thing (commitment or whatever). Not only that, some people also are just generally not ready. What if they're still healing from past relationship trauma?
Ultimately in this case I would settle for friendship with the crush, but I would also need a minute to let myself give up on them as an option. Beyond that, it's important to trust what people are telling you. Don't push the envelope when someone says 'nah, we wouldn't be good together,' because in the end, not being able to take no for an answer will hint that you don't care about consent at the most basic level. Consent matters even in non-sexual settings, for both parties, unless previously agreed upon situations where it doesn't matter (for instance, I will not ask you if you want to be saved from burning alive in a car fire, I will simply attempt to yank you out to the best of my abilities).
I am married, so I am not looking at other women with romantic intentions. I am far too old to have a crush on someone; if I was single and I had some interest, I would immediately talk to the lady and determine if there was a mutual interest. If so, hooray! If not, I don't have too much emotional investment and it's on to the next potential romantic interest.

Well, if it’s a crush, anyone would be disappointed
Then I would say thanks and move on
I would feel informed... and then I would act accordingly, lol
time to up your game and face the challenge.
I might be disappointed, but I would accept it with equanimity.
Nothing, really.
Feeling kind of dead inside already, so it can't really kill me any further.
I have a lot about women and dating, I would not be offended if my crush told me this.
Id settle for a purely physical relationship with no romance
Hey sweetheart, romance isn't everything! Your loss!
I don't have crushes, but if a lady I approached said that, I'd smile and move on.
Who cares that she thinks I'm good looking if she won't be with me?
Move on. Don’t like to waste time.
It's just a crush. We'll get over it
That is called life. No big deal.
That is okay because now I know.
It’s a compliment so yeah that’s ok.
That is one sided crush
I would tee-pee her house.
@Jammaa still loss
That would suck, but I’d accept it.
That's a loss. I'd want to be romantic eventually.
I'd be "crushed".
Sad.
