Why do people including my family think I've changed when I haven't?

They think I've changed because now I have the balls to speak my mind (e. g when giving compliments to women on dating sites for example) but the truth is years ago I was never brave enough to be bold and tell women what I liked about them but now I am bold to say what I like about them even if it's inappropriate

Been there and done that with family! My finally setting boundaries with them was viewed as being aggressive and I explain to them it's the exact opposite! I was being defensive of their b******* and intrusions. It took a long while to learn this very simple lesson: self-preservation above all else!!

Sometimes, people perceive changes in others that aren't actually there. This can be due to personal biases, expectations, or simply a misunderstanding. Happens all the time.
