Girls, would you not ever date a guy because of where he works?

I work for a Department of Public Works. I work in the Parks Department. A lot of people I think look down on people with these kinds of jobs. I sometimes feel embarrassed on where I work. But I get a steady paycheck every two weeks, have great health benefits, along with a pension.

I’m just curious, sometimes when I pull into a park to do work there are women alone walking around. But as soon as they see my truck they leave. When I’m in the park I usually give everyone a polite smile. The girls that are there I don’t look in there direction because I don’t want them to feel uncomfortable. Why is that?

I honestly don't know. I wouldn't act like that towards someone. I'd be polite right back.

You seem very nice. Lol had it happen today again. Lady was pushing a baby in the carriage as soon as I went to the field she walked right out and she just got there too lol

I know. I’m not sure if you’re from U. S. but people are weird. There is a path from the side street leading into the park. As soon as she saw me coming in with the machine she followed the path back out which I knew that was going to happen.
