What does it mean if he sends me every day a good morning messages, but never call?

I met a guy 40yo two weeks ago. He cooked dinner and I stayed over after we had a great time together. He showed affection, cuddling me and holding hands. He's a romantic and a gentleman. At the morning I left he texted me that he had a great time and he wants to see me again. We met again for a dinner in a restaurant. Most of the time we held hands, and we had a great flowing date. At the end he initiated our next date. Maybe important to mention that he haven't been in a relationship for many years since he was building his career.

Since we met he's sending me every morning just a nice good morning texts, but doesn't call, which hard for me to understand it.

To me, it sounds as he prefers to talk to you on a face-to-face basis and not so much over the phone. It is so much simpler for him to text his messages.

It could also be that he wants to keep this relationship confidential for the time being and that he does not want others to hear him chatting to you. It is not always simple to find a place where nobody can overhear the conversation, mainly if it is not business related.

But there could also be a darker side to him that you don't know and that he cannot talk with you because other people are around that are not supposed to hear the conversation because he may be still with someone and has failed to mention it to you.
