My mom and I had to have my sister involuntary committed for mental health. She's been mentally abusive, suuuuicidal, and an absolute nightmare to all of us. She's 45 has a son and gets out of everything. Doesn't have a job besides a podcast once a month, due to her criminal record.
I just hope we did the right thing cause now I'm having anxiety over it.
Like what if she comes after me, or my mom. We have to also get her evict3d from our house.
She broke open our back door.
Im now worried she's gonna contact the registry cause I'm a CNA and she's gonna have my cna license removed or taken away from me. Or contact my job and have me fired. Cause she said she's coming after me next and she said she was gonna have me arrested. Or she's gonna plant her Marijuana in my room and call the police on me.
She doesn't have a job, besides a podcast online.. she obviously doesn't make a living off it. Cause she can't support herself. she's got a history of criminal issues. But she's convincing. She's not dumb.
But I'm not scared of her. I just don't wanna lose my job or cna license... I'm afraid she's gonna call them and try to get me fired. Or try to have me arrested.
My mom has called the police on her a lot of times, and they often said "have you thought about getting her committed?" So they mustve picked up on something? One of the officers said she was having some paranoia.
She has sores on her face, she paints, she painted our wooden door green and she painted over the windows as well. She also painted her steering wheel. I think she's on dŕugʻs because she's got pretty gnarly sores on her face. Im just worried when she gets out if she will try to jeopardize my job. She's got a bit of a following on social media and has threatened to take it there.
Im afraid she's gonna tell the police lies about me, and then I'd be down at the station next. She said she was coming after me next.
I haven't done anything illegal, but I'm afraid she's gonna make something up.

Oh man, I'm so sorry you're going through that with your sister. That sounds like an incredibly stressful and scary situation. The fact that she's threatened to come after you and your mom, and even try to get you fired or arrested, is really messed up. You've got every right to be worried.
It's good that you and your mom made the tough call to get her committed. From what you're describing, it sounds like she's really unstable and a danger to herself and others. Hopefully the involuntary commitment will get her the help she needs, even if she fights it.
I can understand the anxiety about what she might try to do once she's out, though. The threats of trying to get your CNA license revoked or having you arrested are no joke. Especially with her criminal history and social media presence, she could try to make some serious trouble for you.
My advice would be to document everything - save any messages, voicemails, or social media posts where she's made threats or said she's going to try and ruin your life. That way if she does try to pull something, you'll have a paper trail to back you up. And definitely let your employer know about the situation so they're aware and can hopefully help protect your job.
As for the police, since they've recognized her paranoia and instability before, hopefully they'll see through any lies she tries to feed them. But it's still smart to stay vigilant.
I know it's really scary, but try not to let her intimidate you. You and your mom are doing the right thing by getting her the help she needs. Just make sure you're protecting yourself too. Wishing you all the best, and don't hesitate to reach out for more support if you need it.
