Somebody who is a danger to themselves and others while sleeping

I couldn't! If they are a danger to themselves, and I knew this - I wouldn't be able to sleep. I'd be too focused on taking care of them, making sure they were okay, and not harming themselves unintentionally.

Sadly, the lack of sleep, the amount of stress, and the possible outcomes being with a sleepwalker (especially one who is a danger to themselves) would make it very challenging, and nearly impossible for me to relax around them enough to take care of my own self, my own sleep, and getting my own needed rest.

Unless, we looked into sedation options, so they remained in bed fully. Or looked into other options for protection like locked door at night time, extra space with limited furniture so they couldn't fall and break their head open accidentally, or hit themselves with anything, causing damage and injury, etc.
