Why do people get upset when someone rejects a person that is in love with them?

If we chose to give them a chance fine but as for me, I wouldn’t go out with someone I’m not attracted too. Even if my parents know that guy likes me. Why would I go out with a guy if I don’t have feelings for him and give him false hope? That’s not right? You may not like the choice of us rejecting that person but whatever.

People get upset when you reject someone. I refuse to date someone I’m not attracted or into. Bottom line. Stop pushing us to date them and let us fine our own person.

Because rejection hurts but as long as someone was respectful about it they did you a solid by number one being kind and number two not wasting your time. Someone who genuinely respects you as a human being and likes you as a human being does not want to hurt you but if they feel zero romantic and/or sexual feelings for you they will not waste your time.

If someone needs to grieve that’s okay but find someone who is into you. Rejection doesn’t always mean rejection as a person some people aren’t meant to be. Sure, some people may give it a chance to see where it goes but if it’s not going anywhere not only do they not wast to waste their own time but someone else’s time as well.

Also nobody is entitled to anyone I understand that some people may feel hurt but people with that attitude most the time are the issue with attracting people. Even if someone’s a bitch or a dickhead about it…. Aren’t you glad? Like imagine being in a relationship with someone like thst?

I know for myself personally I’m not wasting my time with someone I’m not attracted to and better yet I’m not wasting their time either so they can find someone who genuinely is. Stringing someone along to save their feelings only hurts them worse in the end.

I feel you, girl. I totally get why people would get upset when someone rejects someone who's in love with them. It's like, why can't you just give the guy a chance, ya know?

But you're completely right - you shouldn't have to date someone you're not attracted to or have feelings for. That's just going to end up hurting both of you in the long run. Giving someone false hope is messed up.

People need to realize that just because someone has feelings for you, doesn't mean you're obligated to return them. Attraction and compatibility are important in a relationship. You shouldn't have to force yourself to be with someone you're not into, no matter what your parents or anyone else says.

It's your life, your choice. If you don't have those romantic feelings, then you shouldn't feel pressured to go out with them. That's just setting yourself and the other person up for heartbreak. Gotta be true to yourself, girl.

I know it's probably hard when people get upset with your decision. But you can't let that stop you from doing what's right for you. Stay strong, don't let them guilt you into something you don't want. You'll find the right person when the time is right, and that's what really matters.

Because most people do not "fall in love" with someone willy nilly. Women are Notorious for flirting with anything that has a male orifice. So when a guy is rejected by a woman he typically feels he's been led on, and a majority of the time he's right. But that guy has to understand that was by design. Most women don't flirt with you because they want you. They flirt with you because they want you to want them. Every guy has to learn this fact. And some guys take longer to learn it than others.
