Say you suspected your partner is cheating. If they aren't you'll get hurt vigorous denial. If they are you'll get hurt vigorous denial. It really is a waste of time confronting because you get the same output. You are better off observing.

Maybe this girlfriend was having a bad day or feeling depressed. Or maybe expects the puppy love phase lasts forever somewhat immaturely. Talking can solidify problems. It is at least better to let a little time go past rather than say "I was snooping your phone yesterday and found out you don't love me anymore"

The cheating partner and the girlfriend who is out of love are probably still saying 'love you' but there might not be any effusive hugs. Still see it as better to observe and hear unspoken communications in particular
