Girls, What would you say to a guy who gave up on dating?

Let's say, his parents marriage was abusive and loveless. Most marriages he's seen were violent and ended badly. Even stabbings. He doesn't date because he doesn't want to go through the cycle of abuse. He doesn't hate women he's just afraid of being in a bad relationship.

You’ve been through a lot. You’ve seen a lot. You’ve developed your defense and evasion mechanisms.


You know loneliness isn’t the way to go.
Start the healing journey and put in the work to get yourself in a shape where you’re able to give some of yourself and accept what the other person reciprocates. Take your time, be patient with yourself, as careful as you want, and as slow as you are comfortable


You might break a few hearts in the process and that’s okay, they will heal, too. That’s just what hearts do
