Me and this guy have been talking for months. Sleeping around. Affectionate toward one another. He’s been around my kids. I’ve been around his. He’s slept over at my house. I’ve been to his. I have been cooking for him. Breakfast and dinner. Our birthdays our a day apart. We have great conversation. For months we weren’t official. He was dealing with other women. I was dealing with other men but we finally decided to be together as a couple. He has even changed his shift at his job from morning to overnights just so we could have the same shifts, although we work different jobs. I could be pushing it but I even see marriage happening between us two. We’re both ready to settle down.

You should spend at least 2-3 years living together before you get married. It will also be good for both your kids and his because it will let them adjust and things like this can be very jarring to them. You should also bring it up to him, but I would say bare, bare, bare minimum you should live together for at least 1 full year. If you take my advice though and live together for 2-3 years (I heavily encourage this) and things are still going well, and the kids have adjusted, then it's time for marriage. That's my advice.

I think this is entirely way too fast. Doesn’t mean no relationships have ever worked out at this pace. I didn’t introduce my son to my now current wife of 17 years till we were about 1 year into the relationship. I wouldn’t push it too fast unless he initiates it. I say this because women seem to think they know quicker like you that he’s the one. Men tend to take longer. So if you’re pushing it quicker then he’s going as far as where the relationship is in his mind, he may back off, maybe even ghost you.
