If you started dating and were able to ask people who knew the person what their honest opinion of them was, would you care about what they said?

Yes, but it wouldn't make me rethink the relationship or anything

If it's exes or friends or family yes, but colleagues, associates, neighbors not really

So this legit happened to me. Some guy met me and started asking about me ALL over town to the point that a few people who knew me mentioned it to me…. I didn’t know what to make of it so I texted him my bio and said if he had any more questions he could just ask me directly.


Months later and he’s still fluctuating between obsessive chasing and deadlock silence… He likes a dramatic public chase and I like a very quiet peaceful private life…. So we’re on pause indefinitely. If he gets his head out of his ass and makes a genuine effort to be with me I’ll accept him. If not, I have options and he knows that.
