Can beauty be a curse instead of a cause for happiness?

A woman on social media told me that when she was younger, she was considered to be very good looking and she had no end to her problems, jealous woman would always try to get her fired when she started a new job by turning other people against her with lies, and guys would harass and stalk her and try to use her for her appearance instead of appreciating her for who she was as a personality and character many would not take no for an answer. She said she was thankful she was older and less attractive as the formerly jealous women left her alone when she got older, and the formal male stalkers left her alone when she got older.

I have meant some very beautiful girls but the moment they open there mouth I change my mind they are rude self centered but that's the way there were raised. It's all about them. But they end up not having to many. Friend's.

Well good friends any way they do have friends but they are the same type of people. There not a true friend

I think that good looking people always get ahead in life. The hot women get hired over somebody that is not very attractive even though they are a better candidate. The only time I ever saw it go the other way was a long time ago when I was working at a defense contractor and we were hiring an additional technician. There were three finalists. 2 guys and a girl. The guys were pretty decent candidates but the girl was exceptional. She had a college degree and a lot of experience. I thought she would make a good technician. I told my boss that I thought the girl was very impressive. He told me that he would not hire her because she would be too much of a distraction.

I’m not extremely attractive, but I do get a fair amount of attention from men to comfortably say I am considered at least somewhat pretty. It’s honestly both pros and cons. Some people feel more inclined to come up and talk to you; men approach you more often and women desire your friendship. But at the same time, it’s also the opposite. Some men feel way too intimidated by you to make a move, and some women get very envious of your existence and pray on your downfall for no reason. But with that being said, I much rather be where I’m at now compared to being considered “ugly” or unconventionally attractive. I wasn’t the prettiest thing back in my awkward middle school phase so i would say this is better.

I don't know that being older and less attractive is so desirable either, but being a young extremely attractive woman definitely has its downsides. You get a ton of unwanted attention from men and can't get away from it no matter where you go. That's got to be difficult.

No one has an easy life even though it may appear they have it all.

You have to find the balance, aware of what doesn’t work and have a positive outlook no matter what. It’s up to how people a porch it themselves
