I’ve been seeing this guy for a few weeks and so far we’ve gone on 5 dates and its been going really well, we get on really well and he is really good at planning dates and stuff which is nice.
however when i’ve suggested something thats a bit different like going bowling etc or for a beach walk he always says he will plan something and we end up doing dinner and several drinks at different pubs. It just feels a bit like the same thing
he recently mentioned twice now coming round mine for a movie night and the first time i kinda said that seemed a bit soon and he left it but he’s mentioned it again and seems really keen for a movie/chill night.
Am i overthinking this? For me, I would want to go on a few more dates before I invited him back to mine as i’ve been really clear with him i’m a slow burn person and not the type to jump i to bed right away
When would you feel comfortable inviting someone round your house and would you invite yourself over after a few dates?

It sounds like your heart isn't into this guy. All the guys I've dated, I have known for a period of time before they actually asked me out, so, an actual "date" was a formality, I guess, of how serious we could possibly get. After they treated me well and made it clear it's "their treat" on our dates, I felt very comfortable inviting them over for one of my home cooked dinners! They always brought over drinks and flowers. If you think a guy coming over means he wants sex, that's sad. There are guys out there like that but after five dates, I think you should know what type he is.
After 5 or 6 dates I’d invite them over but as part of the date so it’d clearly not a Netflix and chill situation.
