Why bother texting first to tell or ask something if then they do not respond back or take long to reply?

Because texting first says I value you enough to text you first. Should you keep texting someone who doesn't respond back? In my opinion, NO. I message you once. You don't respond and you'll never get another. But taking too long is another animal entirely. I ALWAYS respond. It may not be immediate. Sometimes I just don't know what to say. Some women are easier to talk to than others, some women are more judgmental than others. And some guys have to choose thier words very carefully with a woman they know will pick apart every word they post. The good news is, if she that type of a woman, I probably won't be talking to her for very long.

Exactly if it is important CALL otherwise assume they have a life and are not listening to close to that smartphone for that tiny beep of a text arriving. Call make the phone ring, then they can deside whether they want to answer or not.
