How would you feel if you figured out your partner gave up certain hobbies and interests when they started dating you?

If someone had a "nerdy" hobby or collection and gave it up because they thought you would be turned off by it. Would you bring it up? Would you try to get them back into it or leave it as is?

There’s nothing wrong with hobbies
But adults having hobbies that are downright for children under the guise that it’s “nerdy” are just sad


I don’t wanna offend anyone so I won’t give examples but basically if your partner inspired you to grow up a little there’s no need to go back on that

I would never allow that -- I wouldn't be with someone who wanted to make me their entire life. It's exhausting.

I would feel really sad ngl, i would ask them about it and try to get them back into it. I’d set up a space for them to do that to show my supports too

I wouldn't be turned off by it. But I would tell them. To be themselves. If we can't be who we are then what is point of any of this?
