That comment alone to me doesn’t necessarily relay interest, if she considered you a friend or someone she was cool with it could be a simple matter of checking in. I’d say let the conversation unfold a bit and if you feel like things are hinting to her being interested then ask her out. Even if it’s just you being interested then act on that.
