Guys, how important is intelligence for you in your partner?

For a majority of men including myself, it’s not a big deal. Some men may like it, but it’s not a big deal for a lot of men. A number of men may say it is because they don’t want to ruin their chances of getting w her. Because honestly a lot of women would get mad if they were told that a lot of men don’t care about her smarts, her career or education cause there’s no real benefit to men when it comes to those things. I’m not saying we want a complete ditz either, but she doesn’t need to be a rocket scientist. I know a lot of women will say so you just want to go home to a dumb bimbo who has nothing intellectual to say. Most men don’t go home to their wife or girl to have conversations w her about rocket science. We go home. Ask her how her day was. Maybe ask her if she wants to go to dinner. Anything interesting happen. Let’s go see a movie. So yes we don’t Santa’s complete idiot, but I think a hormone would be good w common sense, logic.

Pretty important. I once dated a girl who had a learning disability and when she read some the book I was writing at the time she said "It's good, but I don't understand it." That was a huge turn off for me and part of the reason I stopped going out with her.

It’s a nice to have. My partner doesn’t have to be a rocket scientist but it’s really nice to be able to have meaningful conversations. But if she is a good person I don’t mind being a teacher to her…. A good personality is probably the most important.

In this world some people are as sharp as a tack & some people are as sharp as a marble. As for intelligence I think it’s sexy & if she’s a smart-ass I love it even more.

As for being overly smart to the point where your partner is so smart they lack common sense that is not sexy at all. Intelligence is important within reason of course.

Average folk don't care about intellect really they care about someone who can match their own.
