Should I let men chase me in dating, or is it better to take the lead?

It's always good to send clear signals to a guy that you are interested in him. Lots of girls did that with me and it worked with a few of my girlfriends. A guy likes to know how you feel before he takes a chance.

One girl said she just got a new car and asked if I wanted to see it. Another girl asked if I wanted to see her new apartment. But most just made a point of talking to me, being friendly and low key flirting whenever they got a chance.

It depends on you. But…… Either way put effort in. Some people think letting the man take the lead means doing absolutely nothing but being entitled narcissist. Making the man do everything…. And instead of being direct expecting a man to read her mind.

You can let someone take the lead while contributing something as well. Relationships are give and take. Healthy ones anyways…. And that can look different for different people.

Healthy dating isn’t about chasing or holding back, it’s about mutual interest and effort.

If someone is interested, it should show naturally from both sides.

Sometimes you take the lead, sometimes you respond but the key is balance, not playing roles or games.

Based on your many posts, it probably won't matter. But I always say, "if you wait to be approached then you you relegate yourself only to what approaches you". However this is ONLY beneficial if you make good choices to begin with. If you only choose the same trash that would approach you then it really doesn't matter what you do.

Some men with low self esteem can be thrown off if you are the one who takes the lead. It takes them out of their comfort zone. So that's a double test. Go for it and find out.
