Why os online dating filled with low quality people?

Because the high quality people are already in relationships. I started dating online in the Dallas area (6 million people) after divorcing and maybe 2% of the women were interesting. About one new prospect appeared each month. But eventually I met my wife.

Yea that's why I want to find my husband while I'm still young. When you get older, the entire dating market would just be filled with single parents and very bitter old divorced folks.

It's not the entire market, and some people who are divorced learned from it. Some of them would make good partners but made a bad choice. That's what my wife and I did, then divorced and found each other.

not sure really i suppose people try different options when there looking , some sites or aps tend to attract different people. and most more desirable people tend to not be single anyways , if the guy has a good job and good looks often he's not single

Isn't that *mostly* the point of dating apps, for people who can't regularly get dates meeting people conventionally in real life situations? There are some exceptions of course but isn't that the majority of people on there?

A lot of people on these apps are looking for quantity over quality. For Sex.

It is likely because most women think they are much higher quality than they are and they only want men that have no interest in her. The MAJORITY of women are a 4 to 6, but that same majority THINKS they are 9s and 10s. Can't fix stupid.
