Are age gaps okay?

if the guy i’m talking to is 18 and i just turned 22 and was born 2004 is that too much of an age gap or is it ok? he has made it clear he is pursuing me. and told me he’s ok with the age gap and asked me if i was too and what i thought of it. he said it didn’t bother him at all. so i think it’s ok, what are your thoughts or opinions on 18-22 dating?

That's entirely for you to decide. 4 years sounds big now because you're young, but usually the maturity level is pretty even when the guy is a few years older. Go out a couple times and see how it makes you feel, like if you feel you're too different or at different places in your life.

It is fine as long as you are okay with it and he is too. It is way more important that you two get along well than the age difference,.

Fear of age gaps is caused by the society you live in. If we considered a 13 year old an adult we would be fine with them doing adult things. It's all just belief. Nature never told us 18 makes you an adult. Nature never told us to even count.

Age doesn't matter. The only thing that matters is are you both mentally on the same level and is it legal.
