And and a guy who live knowm for a while talking and suddenly went silent for a week and after said he’s not doing well then again silent for for 3 weeks. I have messagws many times asking if he’s okay or if he doesn't feel like talking let me know and I won’t message I don’t fade or ghost so just be honest
He finally replied 3 weeks later saying he’s okay but not doing well and said don’t worry about me. He said it’s probably best for you to not worry or message just enjoy your summer holidays only a few days left (I’m on my break)
just wondering how I should interpret his message he’s said he’s not doing well before and not to worry. I’m wondering if this is a final goodbye or he needs space should I check in after a while?

Just curious, why are you so worried about ghosting him when he’s doing this:
“went silent for a week then again silent for for 3 weeks.”
“He finally replied 3 weeks later”
Do you not consider him being silent for weeks at a time as ghosting? Then for him to say this:
“He said it’s probably best for you to not worry or message just enjoy your summer holidays only a few days left”
Unless you’re just like in complete denial or a horribly oblivious woman, then what is confusing about this? When someone says it’s best for you not to worry about texting them, I mean isn’t that clearly them saying that you don’t need to keep reaching out repeatedly? I just don’t understand where to confusion could possibly be.
You are plan B if plan A doesn't work out like he hopes.
Try to check in after summer is over.
