Based off all that happened, I’d say to wait until you feel as though you’ve done adequate work to heal, which can take time and patience. What you don’t want is to carry any baggage from one bad situation into an entirely brand new one, because that’s how you end up making them pay for what someone else did at some capacity, and that’s not fair.

If blood was involved in the breakup then you should extend the waiting time took a few months at the minimum before starting today again.

If blood was an factor, that means that somebody was physically hurt enough to have blood on their hands.

Whoever inflicted that kind of pain and wound should never date again because this person represents a potential danger for society.

The person causing that much trouble must ask himself/herself whether he or she is suited to be in a relationship or if he or she needs to have some psychological treatment beforehand to try to solve this issue.

I would in any case wait quite a few months possibly a year or so before dating again.
