His mom called me his girlfriend so does that mean I'm his girlfriend again?
I'm so confused as he didn't correct her.
We were talking on the phone and he was like his mother asked why didn't your girlfriend come along and he told her that I was busy which I was because he had to go on a trip to a wedding up north this weekend.
So is my friends with benefits/ex and I together again? Because the ball is in his court and like I said before he did not correct her of what we are or maybe it was just easier to keep it that way given the circumstances.
I don't know. Am I reading too much into this?

I can see where you're coming from and because he didn't correct her when she referred to you as his girlfriend, that would cause me to wonder what's going on.
But you can assume that just because his mother called you that, that would solidify that you are his girlfriend.
Sometimes Mom's will say that to their son's because that's what she is assuming. You've been in and out of his life so many times she probably doesn't know what else to call you.
Wouldn't you have been hurt if he said right in front of you "She's my friend Mom, not my girlfriend"? Maybe he didn't see any harm in letting his Mom think like that. Surely you wouldn't have wanted him to tell her the truth, that the two of you are friends with benefits would you?
If you are his girlfriend, then he needs to have that conversation with you and make it official.
You could just ask him why he allowed his Mom to call you his girlfriend?
But I wouldn't assume that you are his girlfriend via his mother's words and not him saying that to you.
You're absolutely right. Thanks.
Maybe. Or he might just not have wanted to explain to his mom that he enjoys having sex with you but isn’t ready for a relationship. Moms don’t like hearing that from or about their children.
Try telling him that although you don’t play D&D, you really appreciate how much he enjoys it. There’s a change that will make him see you as girlfriend material again (a lot of male D&D played who are even halfway successful with women are afraid that if they get married or even get a serious girlfriend that she’ll make them stop playing). Might not work, but it’s worth a try.
Players. Not played.
You guys are like ten or fifteen years older than I am, so this is even more likely to be an issue with him than with a guy of my generation
I agree with @sage2021 .
I wouldn’t assume you’re back together just because he didn’t correct his mom. It could mean something but it could be that he didn’t feel the need to explain the situation to her. Until you two have that conversation, I wouldn’t take his silence as confirmation of anything…
Maybe he is thinking about being together in a relationship with you again it’s definitely possible but just be careful with your heart… until you know for sure.
if the mom had called you an adulterer, would that make you an adulterer?
what if she called you a nun, the pope... what if she called you a gold digger, what if she called you the perfect mother for her grandkids
would you get pregnant the next day?
you're an adult woman... you have to take responsibility and become what you actually want to be...
Yes you're reading to much into this. If he actually wanted you to be his girlfriend he would just treat you that way but clearly it hasn't been that way in the past. I'm not trying to be mean but your questions have been circling around the same issue for a long time. I would seriously go to therapy.
There is no way he would correct her in front of you, on the phone. Your ex who is now an friends with benefits? Did I read that right? Ugh girl what are you doing?
stop cutting the dogs tail off/
@Simslover92 I think he wants you as his girlfriend
Thanks. I think so too.
Your mom can't make that kind of decision instead of you, I mean, you're not a kid anymore, you make your own decisions.
Oh man. What a tangled web you are in. This is why you cut off all contact with exes permanently and block them. You are in an emotional trainwreck.
You ask *him* what you are.
I feel sad for you. You really need to move on. You deserve better.
That he hasn't told his family you're NOT together is either evidence he's still hanging yiu on or he's rethinking the situation.
I wouldn't assume anything just on that alone.
Ya I guess u r his girlfriend again m
I wouldn't assume so unless he directly said that he views you as his girlfriend
Stop overthinking. Are you a girl? Yes. Are you his friend? Yes then you are indeed his girlfriend
Do you want to be his girlfriend?
I don't think it matters what his mother says
