Would you reject a date with someone who seems out of your league?

I went out last week to a gig with some friends and id never heard of the band before but apparently there starting to get really big and have just been signed with a big name label.

After the gig ended myself and some of my friends stayed behind to have something to drink in the bar. The band were out in the bar talking to people as well but I wasn't really fussed as id never heard of them before and only went because my friends wanted to go see them, plus im really shy and dont really like talking to new people as I just feel awkward.

This guy who worked with the band came over to the table and asked if we'd like to talk with them for abit. I had noticed one of the band members kept looking over at me but i convinced myself it was all in my head and he'd never be interested in me before this interaction.

My friends played it cool and said yes and they started asking us loads of questions about what we thought and what kind of music we were into. The whole time this guy was still looking at me and then he put his hand on my shoulder and asked me if I wanted a beer.

I said yes please and and then he came over to speak to me. He's so hot, he's like a young heath ledger and he was so cool, the entire time he was talking to me he kept eye contact with me and my friends kept looking over giving me the look if you know what im talking about.

he's wayyyyy out my league, but afterwards he asked for my number and I was hesitant but I gave in. he's been texting me ever since calling me beautiful and asking to meet up for coffee.

Im really nervous and keep saying im busy but my friends say if I keep brushing him off he'll lose interest. The truth is I don't have the confidence to date a man like that and im scared but im not good enough for him.

I always get the vibe musicians are usually f boys too and cheat
