My boyfriend is sick and I wish I could make him feel better. Thing is, he's away in another city and I can't go to him. When he told me he was miserable last night, all I could say was "awe" and "I hope you feel better" with a sad face. What's some other things I can say to show him that I care? I feel like he might think I'm insensitive :(
Aw, that is so sweet :) I think you should tell him that! That you wish you were there to cuddle him and help him as he's feeling poorly. Maybe this is another thing, but when my friends are sick I always ask them if they have a fever, if their head hurts, their symptoms, you know? might have to do something with the fact that I'm studying medicine, but I think it's a great way to tell the person that you care, even if you sadly can't do anything about it.
"I wish I was there to take care of you..." "I feel really bad that I can't help you" "I'm sending warm hugs and kisses ❤" lol these are usually the stuff I'd write
This reminds me before I was engaged to my true wife I was sick in bed with Pleurisy my Mom not long passed away my then girlfriend came home to see me she must have felt horny and she gave me a bj. I felt even weaker later on LOL! Luckliy she stayed on to cook something for me that afternoon.
Tell him you wish you could be there and be sick together with him. Tell him you want have chicken soup with him and cure up together, wasting away tissue papers.

Something like that, but apart from that nothing much can be done by text. I don't know but if he is unwell and if a weekend comes by then you can surely surprise him by paying him a visit.
your best option is visiting him despite the obstacles if u can't you better call not text few times a day ( if he can speak ) if u can't just keep in touch with him and text a lot ( if he is not so tired )
in any case, tell him that you are worried and you wish you were there for him, nothing will mean more to him
I know you what you mean, it's kinda hard texting without sounding like you really don't give a f*ck. just ask what's he doing, what has he taken to get better, stuff like that. so it shows you care about him getting better ect. even be like am googling some remedies to get better.
If he's interested in something sexual, send him nudes. If he's not interested right now, then just lead him into talking sweet to you; who knows? He might even sweet-talk you yourself. But anyway, just talk sweet to him or let him come to you (sweet-talking-wise) and give him hugs and kisses. Or better yet, RP.
I think it's funny that most people responded with ideas that you have to go see him to do. Send him some pictures of yourself and talk to him about what you want to do next time you see him. If you want to make it sexual then kudos most men are very responsive to that, but you don't have to if you're not comfortable with it.
I have usually been telling them what to do to feel better. Like drink chamomile tea and put some ginger in it. (if it is just a flue) I have a ton of tricks to feel better, so those I like to share when someone I care about is suffering.
Send pictures to show sincerity. Be it something risque to cheer him up or be it something adorable that you've made for him. This is the most surefire way to assure him that you do hope he does feel better and that you would do anything in your power to try and assist him in that.
Send him your pics 😅 it always made me laugh 🙂 and most importantly, show him that you're there for him. That means don't talk, but listen.. ask him questions 😊

Say something like "I wish I was there to take care of you" maybe do something sexual, like send a sexy pic or tease him by saying your take care of him while wearing a sexy nurse costume. When some of my long distance female friends find out I'm really sick they do that kind of stuff.
Write something from the heart and how you really feel, nothing shows you care more than a little poem or a few little sentences of how much he means you and it also shows a more vunerable side to you which he will appreciate more than anything
Boobs, good for all occasions and will distract most men from the worst of man colds.

Maybe find cute meme type things to cheer him up? Maybe there's a delivery food place that has soup that you can pay over the phone and have it delivered to him?
Go cook for him. If you happen to be one of those people who does not sleep, you can watch him while he is in bed. While watching him, you cam monitor his body temperature, and prepare lemon juice?
Send him pictures of cute stuff animals or pictures of you doing silly things make him laugh or tell him that you love him and you miss him that always cheers me up when I feel down or sick
