FYI guys, the girl doesn't need to be overweight to be heavier than the guy.
My boyfriend has a crazy fast metabolism and practically no body fat (I'd estimate 6-7%)
He's 6' tall and I'm 5'7''
My BMI is 21 and I have a fair amount of muscle mass, I weigh 136lbs, I have an hourglass shape 38-26-38 so no, I'm not fat.
He hasn't said how much he weighs I think he's insecure about it especially since he now knows my weight (it came up in a random conversation, he even said "Why would you tell me your weight ?" in a kind of surprised way)
But I'm guessing he's lighter, maybe 132lbs, it's hard to tell, he could be lighter or heavier
I can easily lift him but then again I'm strong so I don't know if that says anything !
It takes courage from me not to let myself feel insecure in comparison to him.
The only way I could look thinner than him would be to go full-on anorexic.
If he does weigh 132lbs and not less, I could potentially become lighter than him and lose 10lbs more, but it would be very hard, I'm already very fit (this time last year I weighed 160lbs), I'd have to do very regular intensive workouts to burn off more fat, 4-5x a week minimum, and I just don't want to have to do that, it's time consuming and tiring. I'm OK with working out 2-3 times a week and eating extremely healthy to maintain my current weight.
This turned into an in depth monologue on my own stats but I just don't want guys to jump the gun and assume when a girl is heavier than her guy, it means she's overweight/unfit.
No, I wouldn't date a girl who was heavier then me. It has absolutely nothing to do with personality. If she's not fit and thin then I'm not interested and that's the bottom line. Using standards and preferences as an excuse for poor character is absolute bullsh*t. Liking someones personality but refusing to be with them due to physical appearances is perfectly acceptable.

Some girls call themselves "curvy" when they are really overweight.
Physical attraction is a part of chemistry and we'd be lying to ourselves if we denied it. As for how much it matters that varies from person to person. For me it is quite significant and many males are very much motivated by the physical aspect as well. Some have very unrealistic expectations and others deliberately go for lesser attractive girls because they feel more in tuned with them.
I'm OK with a a girl who's a little big. A little overweight is OK with me. It would have to be because she is short though. If she was heavier than me, then it would be a little weird to me. I guess I kind of like it because I feel like I'm not going to break her. I feel like I can be a little rougher in bed with her
Yeah, sure. I'm pretty muscular. So it doesn't really matter. Further more I like it when a girl is laying on me. I like the pressure of her body - the heavier the better. (not like ton like, but you know what I mean. A tad heavier than me is no problem)
I need to actually be physically attracted to a girl, so I'll be honest when I say it's unlikely that I would be to a girl who's heavier than me (I'm 100 kg). But hypothetically speaking, if I did like a girl, and found out she was heavier than me, then just knowing that, or realizing other people might think it, wouldn't bother me.
Well, I'm not super crazy skinny, I have a lot of muscle mass (unlike those cross country kids) so I way around 200 pounds (give or take 5 pounds) so I'm a pretty big guy. If I were to date a girl heavier than me (by actual weight, not looks) it would have to be her height that makes her that heavy. Otherwise no, a 200+ pound woman would probably get a ton of health problems like diabeetus and heart disease.
I'm sorry but I'm 235 and I refuse to date a girl heavier then me I don't care how good her personality is. I had to do a lot of farm work and heavy lifting to get this size I don't want no girl built like me.
I'm 150lbs. I would date a girl upto 150lbs if she were 5'0-5'4. And upto 175lbs if she were between 5'5-5'11.
Personally, I'm not super skinny. Which means the average girl is lighter than me. And the average girl is overweight. So once you get down to a girl with an attractive body, she's going to be lighter than me by fair bit.
Only one girl I've ever gone out with has been skinnier than me... so yes absolutely I'd date a girl heavier than me :)
They don't find big girls attractive. and? that's not so terrible or evil.
