Not a girl that you just find physically attractive, but a girl that you actually like and would want to go out with.

And what I mean by "wait" is that you don't really try to get too serious with anyone else because you're just waiting for the girl you really want to be single again.

This guy I met (he's a graduated lawyer) through a mutual friend... wanted to go on a first date
He asked if I'm free after work on Thursday night
So I said yes I am.
And then he suggested to go to a park by the waterview - and have picnic there
But it would be around 8 or 8:30pm

I had this conversation with a coworker the other day. She said she prefers tall men and my male coworker said he prefers curvy fit women. She got upset and called him shallow. I just feel it's a preference

Me personally: Im guilty of it since I prefer men who are taller than me. If he's my height I'm not ruling him out. Thoughts anyone?

Like instead of being straight, you're LGBT and vice versa. Personally, I wouldn't feel offended but maybe confused. I'm pretty vocal about the people I find attractive and it would be 'wait what' type of moment if someone got the complete opposite idea.

For example you had such a deep interest/crush/love etc for someone with a certain feature/look etc and since then they basically became your type and every person you crush on has that distinct feature she/he had.

Eg my bestfriend had a huge crush on a blonde tall guy and since then all her crushes looked more or less like him (blonde and tall) although before this said crush appeared , she had a more varied taste and mostly dated dark haired men.
I feel like i'm going through the same thing now and since my last love interest was Algerian I feel like Algerian men are my type now and I feel attracted to the way they speak although it wasn't the case before lol.

I wonder if this is common with others too? Did one experience ever influence your overall preference?

One guy who I dated and was close friends with said he would in a heartbeat because he doesn't want a disabled girlfriend or wife. Do you agree?

By physical contact i mean any kind of touch (kiss, hug, touching hands and so on).

I had a date with a guy who used to be one of my mates in college. We basically grabed a coffee and we drove somewhere in nature outside the city, chatted and walked around there for a bit more than 1h. We kept things friendly. That is ok to me because I need to take my time before I would get comfortable, but I am not sure if it was ok to him. He didn't try anything, so I didn't reject him or anything like that. I am a bit shy so I don't know how it looked like.

I was wondering if there was a a psychology behind what men are attracted to and what type of guy they’re or would consider themselves from the poll options, pick which is beat suited to your type and what you would consider yourself

I'm pretty mature for my age. Pretty world experienced - lived in numerous locations, countries, etc. And find a lot of guys my age just don't catch my attention. The average one I've encountered is immature in comparison. Always been interested in older men but can *large* (15+ years) age gap relationships actually work?

Do you view spending Christmas separately from your partner as okay?

Example you are living together, and been together for 8 months. You don’t know each other parents.

They want to spend the day with their family as it’s their tradition but I believe you should be together wether it’s with family or just the two of you.

I view this just as if this relationship isn’t serious enough, and should’ve been better off spending it alone altogether than spending the night with them, when they couldn’t find time for you during the day.

So I recently asked out my professor and we’ve been seeing each other for almost 2 weeks, it’s been great. We’ve kept it on the dL so he wouldn’t get in trouble. However this semester is almost over and he asked me to be his girlfriend since I will no longer be his student. Of course I said yes and our relationship will still be on the dL until I graduate but I want to tell my parents but I’m kinda worried of what they might say🙄should I tell them when I go home for winter break or wait a while? Or should I just say I met a guy while I was away at college 🤔. I kind of hinted to them when I came down for Thanksgiving that I’m currently seeing someone. Plus I plan on spending time with him during the break.
