28F, I’ve been single for 5 years. I dated someone briefly for a few months when I was 23 & I felt like I was settling with him which is why I’m glad things ended. He knew he was the first guy I steadily saw but wasn’t romantic with me, he knew what I expected on Valentine’s Day (the cliche stuff). Instead he takes us out to dinner & while he did take pay for most things/paid to take me on a cruise for his bday vacation I just felt like he wasn’t into me enough. That’s one example but he was too eager to have sex (wasn’t willing to wait for marriage) & that was another turn off. I’ve been single since bc I’d rather be alone vs feel I’m with someone mediocre. Both guys I've known online for 2 years, we talk on and off, with our good and bad weeks. I've met them eavh individually once, very different kind of days out and different guys.

Number (1) and I share a lot in common its almost strange. We share the same values and he's very mature. I can see something long-term with him. The only downside is that the differences we do have we argue over. He also has autism which means that there are constant communication issues. I feel like we're both very submissive people but that could be potentially comforting. There was no pfp when I started talking to him, so I talked to him for the conversation. In some ways I find him attractive, but it's 50/50.

Number (2) and I share almost nothing in common, although we seem to be able to communicate very easily. Once talking we are both there for each other emotionally and are passionate about our ideas. The downside with him is that I feel I'm constantly struggling to make conversation as it revolves around him. If a relationship were to evolve it would be short term. He is more dominant than myself. I started talking to him originally because he was attractive.

My boyfriend takes such good pride in cheating on every ex he had, him and his dad are very similar in that department I court him on a couple times texting other woman and I pushed it to on side for the simple fact he would be homeless if I sent him away he has a son and doesn't see him (his ex will not let him he has tried to see him) I really do love him and I would miss him a lot he has told me he's done and has give me no reason to believe other wise

I live in a studio apartment. It’s a room next to the landlords home. I have to pass by her backyard to enter & exit my studio. Things were great when she lived alone now her daughter around my age moved in permanently with her as she broke up with her boyfriend. She has 4 kids & now building a tiny studio for her. When the landlord isn’t home she is bringing her boyfriend same as I do. Our bfs arrive at the same time I assume after work, so it’s uncomfortable for boyfriend visit me now as they are outside always & weird to pass by them. They have similar color car too which is weird and he steals my and his parking spots so we now have to park super far. I plan move out in 5-7 months but plan tell owner in 3 months I’ll be moving out. I have no kitchen, also I plan have baby this year, so I need a bigger place & windows & kitchen & be alone with boyfriend. Not live with other girl. Not live anymore in owners backyard but have a private place to live. Maybe a Duplex or real apartment. Now I kinda understand why landlords want to rent studios only to single men that work all day & no girls. Lol.

I am teaching ski at a ski resort and we are quite a big group of young people working here seasonally, some I know some I don’t. Met this very cute guy and there was immediately something between us, we exchanged numbers and started hanging out a lot just the two of us for like a week. There were cuddles and intimate moments but never sex as I wanted to get to know him better first. Luckily a friend who knows him saw us together and called me aside after about a week, to tell me that he is in a relationship, with a girl she knows. I feel really bad about it but there was no way I could have known before. Luckily I didn’t sleep with him. Do you consider this as cheating, do I have to fear that people will tell her he cheated on her with me?

You know when you have a gut feeling? I’ve been on and off the dating apps for years, it’s come to the point where I’m not as interested & I swipe on matches/reply to msgs every few days. I’ve never had a real relationship, I saw someone for a few months maybe 5 years ago & something told me after I saw him that’d I’d be single for a long time. With him it felt like settling & I refuse to ever be with someone that made me feel like that again.

I had to use dating apps bc I’m not very friendly & I don’t get approached in person. I’m told I’m cute/attractive & I will say I have a very low sex drive (haven’t masturbated or had sex in 5 years). I don’t think this is a huge deal considering this isn’t something that will be an issue that early on, a guy can’t just look at my profile/see me in person & know that right off the bat.

I get matches (never been the issue) but it’s always: ghosting, fizzling out, lack of interest (can go both ways), feelings not reciprocated, just not a good match & some guys are just crazy. I just always have a gnawing feeling like guys aren’t attracted to me, I’d get told once in a while that some guy looked at me/found me cute but they never do anything about it. And I don’t either hence why I’m posting this 🤷🏻‍♀️
