I met him through my sister and he’s a really close buddy of her from her uni, Few months ago I heard they were talking about relationsships and my sister said “my sister thinks the same that she won’t find a man and die single” between all this him and I were in contact but very respectful to one another but since this conversation between them he did initiate to take me out , my question is does he really think there could be a potential chance between us or since he seems like a genuine person who cares took this situation-ship as a sympathy to make me feel better and wanted? All that in mind I am confused he did take me out for dinner 3 times , we’ve really gotten to know each-other… it seems too good to be true and he wants to take me out to the bar tomorrow which I have said yes to.. he is a great man who cares but I'm assuming he feels pity that I don’t have anyone which is true, my best friend and I stopped talking.. maybe he feels the need to fill that space.. I don’t know I’m so confused.. I like him, he’s a great guy but we’re not in that level of asking each-other what are we..

Asking because it's not for me as long as it's not too bad but my friend said it is for them.

I Can’t help but feel like this is the case. Should women just wait for the guy to chase us?

Every relationship where I’ve “chased” the guy (initiated, flirted first, asked them out, etc) I’ve gotten cheated on.

None of the relationships where the guys chased me ended like this. We parted amicably.

Is there any truth to that people put in less effort in relationships where they were chased? Is it because that person wasn’t their first choice to begin with? Is it because you subconsciously feel like you settled?

I love going to the beach , its like my favorite thing to do , but is it a good spot for a date?

i mean would it be weird wearing a bikini on a date there? like i dont mind wearing it but i just wanna know would that make me look desperate or somethin , if u know

I’m starting to realize that maybe men just don’t like me, I’m going to be 30 soon & never been in a proper relationship. I don’t want kids at least but I really don’t think I’m unattractive, I have self esteem issues so my opinion changes. But I’ve been on the dating apps for years on and off, my interest in them just became lesser over the years. Getting matches are never the issue it’s just it working out, always ghosting, fizzling out, etc. I’m told I’m cute/attractive, I never get asked out by guys in person, I can confidently say I’ve never been approached by a guy I found physically attractive. Back when I was 23 I dated someone briefly & I felt so offended by only being able to attract him it felt like settling I couldn’t be with him, I’ve been alone this whole time that shows you how men feel about me. When I was younger and around people my age more often I was told these guys found me attractive but they never did anything about it. The fact that beautiful people are always taken it makes me realize I’m maybe just not good enough. Isn’t it strange being as old as I am & still not meeting someone that I actually like? I’m not asking for a lot: good looks, taller than me (doesn’t have to be 6+ ft), educated, good sense of humor, not a cheater etc. I feel like I’ve genuinely become less interested in dating with my experience, I have a lower than average sex drive too I think

I look at it this way

As example someone is "involved" with 4 people. By this I mean either talking or initial dating.

That person has to split their time between work or studies & these 4 people.

Eventually the best of those 4 will get fed up with that person's inability to give them time / put an effort (similar effort) into the relationship so the best will leave & all that person is left with is the dregs that can't get any better themselves.

This is just a random question that popped into my mind. I usually do not wear makeup when I'm going on dates (went out with two guys; one became my boyfriend, but later broke up and the other guy and I did not work out) but it was because we went to places like ice cream shops and the beach which did not require a full face of makeup. From a guy's perspective, how would you feel if your date showed up without makeup on? Is it an important aspect of a first date?

I'm not dating anyone at the moment, but *if* I'm interested in someone in the future, I thought this might be helpful!

PS: For the ladies, with or without makeup, you're beautiful no matter what :)

Say for example if the woman is between 25 and 29 compared to 40-50. Say the man is between 40-55.

In Western Society the normal is to be cheap and easy. For men and women. Multiple partners, sleeping around, friends with benefits, little interest in commitment. Generally a lack of self-respect and respect for others.

In Eastern and Eastern European society being cheap and easy is not the normal yet. It exists but not as extreme as what you find in Western Society. There is more interest in having one partner, commitment, and eventual marriage.
