What profession doesn’t get enough credit or respect?

Military
They fucking die for you. Do you think an average person is thankful for the freedom and peace he has been given because of the sacrifices of those courageous and selfless people. I don't think so. They don't even earn much. Even government doesn't care.
Thanks for MHO! :)
Welcome. :P
This guy. I mean I know he went to jail but just look at that absorption power!
I'm afraid I don't know who he is. Why did he go to jail?
Turns out, Shamwow is just a regular sham.
Sucks. :/ Would've been great to have a product like that.
Working in a bar or restaurant. People think it's an easy job because you don't need a college degree, but it's so much harder than an office job, it's not even comparable. Working 40 hours at my office is as hard as working two shifts a week in a restaurant.
Teachers. For sure don't get respect from students, from administration, or from parents. They work hard, put a lot of money out of their own pockets and they usually do it to make a true difference.
Childcare workers. They are entrusted with our most precious beings and we pay them pretty crappily and dismiss them pretty easily.

The janitors that clean bathrooms at rest stops 😖😖
Nurses. It's simple, there are always shortages of nurses. The job is so underpaid and overworked that supply will never want to meet the demand.
Teachers, nurses, anyone who works with their hands/crafts jobs (construction, carpentry, welding), people who work in customer service jobs in call centers.
Restaurant workers are always treated poorly when most people couldn't last a day in a high volume store
Sewer maintenance and butchers, the ones on the farms not the store and morticians, because if they didn't do their jobs we'd have to slaughter animals, prep and dress dead people and clean poo
When I say prep I'm talking about draining blood, cutting open and cleaning, removing certain parts and autopsies etc..
here the teachers. any kind. from elementary to university 🎓 lvl
Housekeepers. I own a clean business. People look down on me and think I'm less when in reality I'm getting paid to clean up their mess that they are either too busy or too lazy to do in the first place.
custodians and construction workers.
Without the former everything will be a filthy disgusting mess.
Without the latter there wouldn't be any buildings to work in...
I think any profession is equally respectful when done with purpose.
I feel like my job doesn't. Won't say what it is but we don't get credit when stuff works the way it's supposed to but as soon as it doesn't bam in a bunch of trouble.

@YourFutureEx yeah thinking about it now, it is over rated most places. Just in my little community it's looked down on, even though parties would suck without a good one.
My bad 😅
Yeah that's a different thing. In my country, if we told our elders that I am a DJ, they would think that I'm uneducated and broke lol.
@YourFutureEx "Beta, serious job kab se chalu karoge?" 🤔
Exactly! It isn't a job unless we cracked an exam for it.
