What’s the difference between common factoring and trinomial factoring? I’m stuck on these questions, especially number 4. Help anyone?

Basically trinomial you find 2 numbers that multiple to the last number and sdd to the middle number and you put them into (x+#) unless there is a number at the x^2 that you can't take out with greatest common factor. But you haven't leanred that yet i think. Commom factoring is where you iust find the greatest commom factor. Im doing thr same thing in math rn just more complicated factoring, this was a few units ago
I don't know what do these words in your question even mean. If I did, I'd probably know how to answer.
Common factoring is seperating a common term like: 12x^2+4x^2 and the common factor is for example 4x^2. Makes it 4x^2(3+1) or x^2, makes it x^2(12+4), or 2, or 2x^2, etc. Just a way to make it simpler, very useful for when you need to cancel out terms.
Trinomial is seperating quadratics. Like: x^2+5x+6, and the terms from seperating then are (x+2)(x+3), since 2*3 makes 6 and 2+3 make 5.
The answer I got was 2 (x + 3) ( x + 4 )
The emoji is supposed to be a 3
Is that correct?
And that was for question 4a
Ok thank you so much !
