Do I callback my job or am I fired?

A week ago I had homecoming and I took that Saturday off. I work Friday-Sunday every week but I work 1 hour away from my school cuz I live with my dad on The weekends. I don’t drive and my dad is the only one who provides transportation. I tried to find out a way to cover my shift Sunday after homecoming because it was at 6am and homecoming didn’t end till 10pm the night before. I didn’t find out my schedule until Friday because the schedule is only in stores. My dad could not take me and I tried all day to find a way there but I couldn’t so I called the night before my shift and told them I had no way at all to get there. They let me know I have no choice but to come in or else there will be “bad news” (their exact words) I let them know I’d keep trying. I tried but still nothing so I tried to call back a bit later but they were closed. I ended up not going to my shift that morning. I received a call
that morning letting me know I should’ve been there and to please call them back. It’s now Thursday and I work every Friday and don’t even know my schedule. I was too scared to call back which is my fault I know. Do I call today and ask about my shift this weekend or should I just not bother because im probably fired. I was going to quit anyway because I wanted to work somewhere closer to me.

You're likely fired, I'm really sorry. If it makes you feel. Better, if i were in your shoes I'd not work for a company that won't let me do school functions, and isn't understanding about transportation issues.

An answer to your response to someone else. You're allowed to quit like that.. There is no law saying you have to give notice, it's a courtesy no more no less.. One which companies NEVER follow when terminating someone.

Calling makes me really nervous because I hate confrontation, am I able to send an email and quit? Also, will it be hard getting another job after being fired I’m really nervous about that

Better to call. I can't answer the second part as I dunno how the job market is in your part of the world.

Even if you're fired, you should still contact them, because this won't look good on a future job application.
Just call them and tell them not to bother putting you on the schedule, because you won't be coming back.

They don't care that you didn't have transportation. You could've taken a cab..
