Am I fired or getting in trouble?

Well , currently I work at a state a park. My boss has been very laid-back and willing to work with my schedule. I do maintenance work at the park , but there is no structure within the job. We're just randomly told what to do by the manager, if we could find him to begin with. Some days I would be sitting around for a good amount of time waiting to be told what needed to be done. Well yesterday, I came back from lunch and couldn't locate the manager so I could find out what I needed to do. I also asked another employee I was working with earlier and he also had no clue, so I contacted my husband and had him come to my job and we just hung out in his car until the end of the work day. I travel back to the employee area to clock out and I see the boss staring at me and talking to another employee. I'm nervous that he caught me in the car with my husband. Not sure what he will say to me this Friday when I'm scheduled to come back in.

Yes you could get fired, so start being more assertive and look for work to do, or just act like your working.
