Swearing doesn't bother me at all. Words can only hurt you if you give them the power to do so. A manager that swears a lot doesn't bug me unless they're constantly pissed off at me and accusing me of shit I never did or if they swear to excess. Like, the friend of mine up in Erie. Nearly every other word out of his mouth is some form of the word, "fuck". He'll even stick on it if he's trying to regain his train of thought in mid sentence. "I fuckin' went to the fuckin' store the other fuckin' day and I fuckin', fuckin', fuckin', fuckin', saw this motherfucker that fuckin' bought fuckin' jelly fuckin' donuts and fuckin'...", etc.. Holy shit, Bob, get laid, or something, would ya?

No opinion, though it can be unprofessional if it's being done in front of clients or excessively without purpose. I'd much rather employ or work for a manager who is competent but vents with vulgar language than an incompetent manager who doesn't, if that makes sense.
I don't have a problem with people that swear but if they're doing it constantly (like every sentence) then it's annoying. As for managers constantly swearing, it's very unprofessional.
If a person doesn't know how to manage their own mouth, then they shouldn't be managing an office full of employees.

I have a problem with this personally, that I've been working on. I've always held on to a belief that there's a difference between cussing about a situation, and cussing at someone. My younger employees dont see the difference. Generational difference i guess. So to be more effective, im tryig to better my approach with them.
i don't mind swearing at all. like if someone swears when shit happens to them, i find that relatable. but if you mean they basically aggressively treat the workers, that's a no go.
It’s fine if they aren’t swearing at their reports.
I'm self-employed and swear like a sailor and I found it logical when I was in the kitchen because that place ran on vices, shouting and swearing
Anyone who swears excessively doesn’t project as intelligent as their use of the English language isn’t expansive so they have to substitute for words.
Pretty normal in the places I’ve worked, I don’t care.
Unprofessional. Loss of control. Lacking candor. It's a conduct unbecoming of a good leader.
I was in the Marine Corps so I’m used to it and don’t really care.
it means his employees need to get their fucking heads out of their asses
You can't expect me to take them seriously in disciplining the staffs when they are undisciplined themselves.
As long as it isn't not angry yelling at people, no big deal. I work a blue collar job.
A manager? Nah That’s just unprofessional.
I think they have a small vocabulary.
