Would you drop a class with too many quizzes?

I’m a university student and my professor said there will be 40 quizzes this semester. Should I drop it? Is this a normal work load?

That sounds like one per class meeting? 3/week x 14 weeks? That's his way of getting everyone to keep up with the work. Presumably the quizzes will be quite short. Don't take this class if you plan to put off doing any work until the last minute.

Yeah, that is still a lot a I feel like. That's more than one quiz a week.

You could always try it and see how it goes and drop the class before the cutoff date if it sucks.

Well, you can always keep pushing in the class. Just don’t forget the drop date for classes, in case you feel like you really need to drop it.
