Have you ever been for a job interview and realised it’s not for you?

lots of times. I interviewed for a job and knew I was not going to like it but I was going to take it anyway because the pay was good. I went through all the paperwork and even got drug tested. I changed my mind at the last minute and told them I decided not to take the job.
Thanks for your response:)
Yeah mine was reading through my paperwork talking to employees and being like ‘hang on, this isn’t really what I want…’ so I declined the job , thanks for your answer :)
Not as such but I have interviewed people and you can see them change their minds.
I tend to give them a chance to get out of things gracefully, we we both know they don’t want the job but need to appear interested and also walk out without leaving too early
That’s interesting! I kinda feel like that was me when I went for my interview, I wanted to look like I was interested, cause I didn’t want to offend or upset the person doing my interview
Yeah that is fairly close to how they were.
I sort of moved the interview to hobbies and interests rather than work stuff
Yeah of course I also had apprenticeships and quit in the first day, cause that was not for me.
That way you at least learn what's not for you and can try to find the right
Yeah that’s exactly it! :)

Yeah I’ve turned down a few offers that weren’t really what I was expecting
Yeah I’ve had one recently, it’s not what I thought it would be, they sell it being something and in reality it’s completely different
oh yes, a few times. and also after working a few hours
Interesting! Thank you :)
Can't say I have, but that must suck.
Yeah it does, it’s annoying, you’re told one thing and then it’s completely different
