Have you ever been told that a job isn't for you despite not really having much of a chance to learn it?

yes, and they were right...
like the time I was ready to join the Navy, I was apt and more than qualified for absolutely everything, except one thing... I was not made to take out lives and live with it
nowadays, I agree with that evaluation, is not what I would have wanted to do
I feel you, dawg.
I was told I was "overqualified". my last yr in college I applied to work at a pharmacy next to my college. The manager asked me how old I was and if I was going across the st. I said yes and told him my story. Point blank he said "Im not hiring you. You are too old to work here, you are too educated, and you got too much potential. These jobs are for kids starting out, you are an adult.
A job is a job nonetheless it shouldn't matter
@smahala1991 worked out anyway. With my college work load and commute back and forth.. no thanks

Yes. In fact, they fired me. Granted, they lied to me in the interview process, but still.
I admit things could have been better but still it's not fair to me or anyone for that matter that people get training like that
Yes. People who tell you these things are full of 💩.
Yea, and it’s no big deal. Sometimes it’s an incentive to try harder and learn the job better than that person.
They are not going to be fair to you. They are going to do what is good for them, not you. Welcome to Capitalism.
Nope, always excelled at my jobs.
Yea cuppa times
I have not.
