Is it just me or do y'all get pissed off when you hear about all these millionaires in supercars?

Like I’m going to school and learning what they got to teach me and I still can’t figure what separates me from the millionaires or how to become one of them

It's mostly luck. Hard work helps but there's no guarantee. I know a lot of tech millionaires who got rich because they had the ability to learn a skill (software development) that is highly valued. They haven't worked particularly hard, it's just something they can do that most people cannot.

Rule 1 I will give you for nothing, is forget 90% of what school 'taught' you

Put the work in (40 hours a week won't cut it), know what to cut your losses and never turn off (no weekends or holidays unless you can turn them into work)

There was a lot less skill required to be at the forefront of almost any job prior to computers. Way let red tape blocking entrepreneurs as well.

So it usually goes back to nobility, generations of professionals marrying other professionals and industrial entrepreneurs.

You'll notice a pattern, when a lot of people find a niche and make it the first thing they do is pull the ladder up behind them.
