If I work 32 hours a week making $16 an hour how much is that on a monthly basis?

Your gross monthly income would be $2048 per month. How much of that you keep depends on where you live and your personal circumstances. One near certain deduction is the 7.65% for FICA, which is Social Security and Medicare, so say goodbye to $157 per month. Unless you live in a state without a state income tax, you'll probably be hit with a 5% deduction- let's say $100. State Disability insurance is normally 1%, so there goes another $20. Now for the big boy- the feds. The Federal Withholding TAX Table lists 12% withholding for your income bracket, so wave goodbye to $245.
Starting with $2048 gross, you'll net...$1526.
Hmm. That is amazingly close to what @lofii estimated. Maybe he works in a payroll department.
At least 2048$ a little bit depending what kind of days the remaining 2/3 days are.
512$ a week x4 2/3 days to the 30/31 month.
But you also have to deduct taxes, healthcare,... to figure out how much money you actually get wired onto your bank account.
You do realise that you could have calculated this using google search.

$26,624 per year. Not all months will be equal as there's different amounts of week days in all of them, but it would average out to $2218.67 per month.
The computer you're typing this on has a calculator function; are you really too lazy to use it?
