It makes a big difference whether you have time for a full time job or can only work part time. It makes a huge difference in the type of jobs available.
Working at the college itself works pretty well. There are a lot of student jobs, and they will work around your changing schedule.
A lot of students do summer jobs, sometimes just for the money, and other times for the experience. Experience can be job experience, or life experience. For example something I thought about doing, and probably should have, was working a summer job at a national park. Spending a summer at Yellowstone and getting paid for it was very attractive to me.
There are plenty of traditional minimum wage type of jobs. Most of which will adapt to your schedule.
When I lived in the Central Valley of California, common summer jobs for students were fire fighting and driving trucks during harvest season. They train you for fighting fires, but they won't put the students in dangerous situations - that's left for the pros. The truck driving is between the farms and processing plants.

Nah, I feel like in the states bar tending or restaurant service is pretty rough but you can do that. Same with working at a supermarket.
You can also put ads on local high schools to tutor some kids.
If you know how to video edit, code or anything computer related, there's a lot of easy remote work you can do
Depends on availability and other matters. If you are going to college full time, I wouldn’t recommend working while going. You need to focus on studies and work will distract you from passing. Many college students that are full time work on their semester breaks. If you go to school part time, you can pretty much work anywhere just remember that work , study and life balance matter.
I worked at the dining facility over there. They didn't take state taxes out of our paychecks because of some reason (idr why)
If they have a tutoring program you might be able to work there as well.

they are not kids though... they usually are adults over 18, so if time allows it and with good planning they could get many full time jobs, but usually half time jobs
depends on many other factors as well, like location, availability and financial needs, lol I'm a college kid, and I don't work, but people I know work at Walmart and Starbucks and as waitresses. Also, a lot of college students I know do internships specific to their major.
Probably anything where it's expected that they know how to spell college.
I worked for a couple of small companies doing odd jobs.
First of all, if you want to apply, it's spelled COLLEGE.
