I work in the hospital as a certified nursing aide, and I like it. But I'm not happy. I dread coming to work every night and I feel like when there's a lot of tension the nurses try to push their work load off me. And I don't want to be a bitch. It's been 3 months and I applied at a different position at the same hospital i work at as a home health aide, which would be full time but I'd like that much better. When I turn 26 I'll have to pay for my insurance. Does this look bad after 3 months? I originally wanted home health aide. But didn't cause they found someone else for the position.
Honestly as long as you’re not working on your own there’s always going to be nurses who push shit on you, especially the females. I have the same job you do. The male nurses are pretty chill, do their own shit w an exception here and there. It’s a lot of the women who stress then start pushing things on you. Especially as a male they try to take advantage of me in that way. I will respond back w such things as I’m busy right now or can you do it as you can see I have a lot going on. I never get mad, I just speak up so they know they aren’t going to push me around like that. You could try talking to the supervisor but at the same time the sup may be friends w these nurses so that may not be a good thing. No matter where you go on the medical field you’ll always find nurses like that, even NAs. Maybe try to stay a year if you can.

If they found someone else for the position when you originally applied for it, but where given the current job you have there now instead. And you where only there for 3 months… you’re not gonna like the job
Downside to nursing is there a lot of bullying and staff putting their work onto the new staff. I feel you done the right thing.
