Ever had a difficult coworker and how did you deal with it?

The new hire finds it, quote “a pet peeve" when someone is trying to help them, walks away when being explained how to do a task, and leaves their half eaten food around the workplace.

Too many. But the worst was the ones i had to train at my last job. One girl tried to set me on fire and the other girl said i was B for not taking over the client who was snapping at her. She then tried to fight me and was surprised when i didn't stand down. And those whores kept her rather than firing her. Hated those ratched asd hoes and had to past that specific one constantly, hearing the BISH WHAT U LOOKIN AT remarks... took everything in me not to say yo uglass you ole bald-head scalawag hoe. But she quit shortly after so i was content

If it was my last day on the job i wouldve went off. But i knew i was permanent and she was temporary

I stew I'm my own anger and say nothing because I'm not confrontational lol.

But honestly, if they aren't doing anything egregious or outright dangerous, I will let it slide and bitch about them to my partner when I get home.

Mind you, I didn't just up and leave because of ONE bad person. It escalated to that point, along with bad management and other conditions.

But before then, I dealt with difficult coworkers by distancing myself from them. Basically let others see how incompetent they are rather than trying to help them. It might seem annoying, but trust me when I say, others do notice bad coworkers! The problem is if they act on it or not. If the management has any sense, they will act on it and get rid of them. If not, and you feel like the work environment is too toxic for you and your well being? Start job hunting.
