New job takes badge and keys on last day of orientation then says management will call before I come back next week. Am I being let go?

Not sure but I think I'm being let go from this per diem job. I've worked at this location before and had a good reputation.

Just completeled orientation today and on the last day they took my keys and work badge and told me manager will call me before I come back next week.

I remember during the orientation my manager told me I seem disengaged... But I was expressing interest in working for multiple departments in their facility.

A little confused because the other co workers never had this happen to them and it seems like im going to be let got before starting the job.

What are your guys thoughts?
