Any advice on studying fast and effectively for nursing school?

the best advice I could give you is to find a study technique that works well for you… with the right technique, you can learn and get in a lot of information in a short period of time. it’s just simply time effective. I have had class mates who would spend HOURS, many hours of their day studying intensively and still continuously failed exams.


my technique is super risky, and lazy as well… I’m a procrastinator and that’s simply because I know, I’m a fast learner so it doesn’t take me much to get in information fast, plus I have a technique that works for me… what I do is, I take notes of all the important points, key points that I need to learn, turn them into questions, answer all of the questions as detailed as possible and then I rewrite the answers again so I memorise them… this takes me about 2 days… and I’m ready to take an exam lol

That's doctor curriculum these days. Congratulations on getting in. The lunch cardio burn workout or the "3pmish nap". After 5:30am study till 4pm classes... NAP saved me in grad school for the 5:30-10:30pm crams.

There is nothing easy about grad school and that's what Nursing BS is like !! I know DUMC and Harvard nurses... Good Luck !!

Learn to speed read. It’s about consolidating text. Wouldn’t recommend for novels. So know how to turn it off.
