No, but in 6th grade I showed up at school on a day we had off due to teacher meetings. My Mom dropped me off and I thought I was late because there was no one outside, but when I looked in the window at the dark classroom I remembered. I walked the mile+ home trying to hide the books I was carrying because I was embarrassed.

Thankfully, I’ve never done that, even when I was working weird part time shifts. I’m a teacher now, so all my hours are set.

I worked at a college and a few times the president called a snow day and there was only a couple of inches on the ground so I couldn't imagine calling off school. I drove over there and would see an empty parking lot.
